ISLAMABAD: Expressing disappointment over the “attitude” of opposition parties regarding the Panama leaks, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif Thursday said a judicial commission has been formed on their demand, but they were still making fuss of it. While talking to JUI-F chief Fazalur Rehman at the Prime Minister’s House, Premier Nawaz said that he had written a letter to the Supreme Court (SC) chief justice to form a commission to probe the Panama leaks, however, the opposition parties were “politicising” the issue. Both leaders discussed in detail the aftermath of the Panama leaks and discussed ways to devise a counter strategy to “take-on” the opposition. The JUI-F chief assured the prime minister of cooperation. He said that the Panama leaks issue was a serious matter and the opposition parties should wait until the judicial commission submits a report in this regard. Meanwhile, PM Nawaz Sharif on Thursday said his government was working for the betterment and uplift of the masses, and enabling the people to exercise their potential for progress and prosperity of the country. He was talking to MNAs Azhar Qayyum Nahra and Rana Muhammad Hayyat Khan, who separately called on him here at the Prime Minister’s House.
