ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that Pakistan, Qatar and Turkey can go for joint ventures in production of defence equipment. He was talking to Qatar Minister for Defence Affairs Dr Khalid bin Mohammad Al Attiyah here on Thursday. The visiting dignitary said that Qatar sees Pakistan as a strategic partner and every effort would be made to make the relationship stronger. He said Qatar wanted to benefit from Pakistan’s anti-terror expertise for establishing a training academy to counter unconventional enemy and terrorism. Qatar is also desirous of buying Super Mushshak and JF-17 aircrafts from Pakistan, he added. The prime minister assured the minister of all-out support in all fields. Referring to trilateral cooperation among Pakistan, Qatar and Turkey, the prime minister said Pakistan and Turkey had been enjoying strong relations for the past many years.
