ISLAMABAD: A two-day weekly book bazaar has been started here on Friday at premises of Pakistan Academy of Letters (PAL). The publishers and book sellers of twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi have set up their stalls at weekly book bazaar. The bazaar will be opened from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm. Books on various subjects are available at the bazaar on discounts rates. Pakistan Academy of Letters (PAL) is making efforts to promote book reading culture in the country. The Academy invited students and general public to get books on discounted rates from the bazaar. Heritage Library: Lok Virsa, Heritage Library has a collection of over 32,000 books and journals. In addition a collection of 200 books published by Lok Virsa is also available in library, an official of Lok Virsa said. He said that the library continues to serve students, researchers and scholars in connection with their research work on cultural heritage.
