ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has said the Sharif family is blackmailing its political opponents instead of responding to the allegations levelled against it. Khan tweeted on a social networking site that PTI leader Jahangir Khan Tareen had given documentary evidence to prove that he did not get any loan written off. He said that he was considering legal action against the accusers. He said that if the incumbent government has proof of someone’s involvement in illegal activities, it should move the court and bring the guilty to justice rather than blackmailing them. “Instead of clarifying their position and contradictions on offshore assets/properties, Sharifs are using government machinery to blackmail political opponents,” Khan said on Twitter.
