ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has issued a code of conduct for by-elections in PS-22 Naushehro Feroze- IV, PS-106 Karachi-XVIII and PS-117 Karachi-XXIX. According to a press release issued here on Thursday, the ECP said that no person shall convene, hold or attend any public meeting and no one shall promote or join any procession within the area of the constituency 48 hours prior to the polling. Any person who violates these provisions of the law shall be punished with rigorous imprisonment, a fine, or both. Accordingly, the campaigns for by-elections in said constituencies shall come to an end at midnight between May 31 and June 1.
