RAWALPINDI: A 9th grade girl student has allegedly been abducted at gun point within Westridge Police jurisdiction. According to police, Moosa the victim’s father told the police that Ali Khan, Nadeem and two accomplices forcibly dragged her daughter into car at gun point when she was coming back from her examination centre. The victim’s father further said he had talked to Ali Khan’s father for recovery of his daughter but he had refused to do so. The police have registered a case and started investigation. Teenager abducted in Islamabad: A teenager has allegedly been abducted within the Aapbara police jurisdiction. Arshad Mahmood, a resident of G-6/3, lodged a complaint with the local police that kidnappers have abducted his son Abdullah, 17 from the local market. He suspected that Mohammad Aftab could be behind the kidnapping. The police have registered a case and started investigation. Liquor factory: A fake liquor factory operating in the name of plastic factory has been seized within the Sabzi Mandi Police jurisdiction. On the direction of SP Industrial Area Police raided a fake plastic factory located at I-10/1 service road and seized 200 litters of alcohol, 4000 empty bottles, and a liquor machine along with other equipments used in liquor making. Police arrested a suspect Malik Zahid and conducting raids to arrest other suspects involved in this act. Woman dies: A married woman has allegedly committed suicide over domestic dispute within the jurisdiction of Waris Khan Police. According to media reports, the victim, S*, and her husband Bilal, exchanged harsh words with each other as he forbade her from going to her parent’s home. On being disheartened she allegedly consumed poisonous pills and died on the spot. On the other hand, parents of the victim has levelled allegation that her husband has killed her. Police have registered a case and started investigation. Hit-and-run incident: A motorcyclist has been killed in a hit-and-run incident within the Secretariat police jurisdiction. Arshad, a resident of Secretariat, lodged a complaint with the local police that his son was going on motorcycle and was hit by a speedy van driven recklessly by a van AKB-5097 at a U-turn. He was left fatally injured. The injured was rushed to local hospital for medical treatment however, he succumbed to injuries. The police have registered a case and started investigation.
