ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif has said that Balochistan would gain immense benefits from China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). While talking to Senator Mir Hasil Khan Bizenjo on Monday, he said that the development of Balochistan is top priority of the government to bring it at par with rest of the country. The prime minister said that the focus of government is on socio-economic uplift of the people of Balochistan. He said that the Gwadar would be state-of-the-art port city that would generate a large number of employment opportunities for the residents and thus help in reduction of poverty. Mir Hasil Bizenjo lauded the leadership of the prime minister for initiating massive infrastructure development projects and welfare schemes for the Balochistan. He said that the ongoing development projects and welfare schemes across the province would bring a revolution in the lives of the residents of Balochistan.
