ISLAMABAD: The government plans to expand the number of higher educational institutions in the country under the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Vision 2025. According to officials, a sum of Rs 35.7 billion has been allocated for this purpose in the next fiscal year. The HEC Vision 2025 aims to produce a skilled human resource catering the demands of time. Under the plan, 150 affiliated community colleges will be established across the country to produce skilled human resource. Published in Daily Times, June 25th, 2017.
