RAWALPINDI: A stage drama titled ‘Mera Ishq Ve Ton’ was staged at the Rawalpindi Arts Council (RAC) Saturday night in connection with the National Action Plan. The play was written and directed by William Pervaiz on the theme of drug addiction. The story revolved round two brothers, whose children became drugs addicts, which was painful for them. Speaking on the occasion as the chief guest, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Shafiq Malik said drama was a good source of spreading message of harmful affects of drug addiction in the society. He said the council was playing a good role in highlighting the social issues. RAC Resident Director Waqar Ahmed said the National Action Plan was playing a vital role in eradicating terrorism from the country.
