ISLAMABAD: The teachers working in various government education institutions of Islamabad on daily wages have not been paid their salaries for the last four months and they have announced to boycott the classes if their demands are not met by Feb 27. These teachers protested that the CADD ministry had not taken any step to ensure the payment of outstanding salaries to them and the regularisation of their service. They announced that if they are not paid their salaries and are not regularised then they would boycott classes from Feb 27 onwards. CADD minister Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry asked the ministry to work out a summary in this regard, so that he could forward it to the Finance Ministry to resolve the matter on urgent basis. It is pertinent to mention that Finance Ministry has rejected the summary of CADD ministry regarding the payment to daily wage employees.
