I am very happy and excited to be here among all of you and see your beautiful faces, performing and rejoicing in the joys of “Earth Day”. Today is a very important day as it is the day of the earth. It is the only home known to man. We must all realise that our resources are limited and hence conserving it should be our top priority. We must plant trees and care for our animals, as they too are living beings and most importantly, we must care for each other and make a better future for all of our children. I am sure that all of the careers and supervisors of this organisation invest heavily in the good upbringing of all these children and are highly committed to raising responsible individuals that can one day pay back the society and be exceptional citizens of this beautiful country Pakistan. Australian High Commission is standing with the cause of Pakistan Sweet Homes. I am amazed to see the talent of these children and I can say that this is a positive Pakistan”. On the occasion, Pakistan Sweet Homes Patron in Chief Zamurrad Khan said, “I am really happy to see international community helping our angels. Australian High Commission has always been helpful in our cause. With the grace of Allah Almighty and help of different donors, sweet homes have become the Asia’s largest orphanage. Today on earth day my message is that air is our teacher, land is our father and earth is our mother so we all have to protect our mother from pollution”.
