ISLAMABAD: Senate Chairman Mian Raza Rabbani on Thursday said that State Minister Abdul Qadir Baloch should come and inform the house that why regularisation letters were not issued to the agitating ad-hoc teachers of FATA. Responding to a point of order of Senator Aurangzeb Khan about agitation and sit-in of teachers from FATA in the federal capital for the second time against non-regularisation of their services, the Senate chairman said that minister for SAFRON in the previous session had committed with him that services of protesting teachers of FATA would be regularised. He said after assurance of the minister the agitating teachers had ended their protest and returned to their hometowns. He said that the minister should issue regularisation orders of these teachers as per commitment and inform the house tomorrow. Earlier, the agitating senators from FATA cancelled their walk out from the house on request of the chairman. The Senate chairman assured them that the matter would be resolved amicably.
