RAWALPINDI: Eleven facilitators of banned outfits were arrested in intelligence-based operations in Punjab, the military’s media wing said on Wednesday. According to the Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR), the Rangers, Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and intelligence agencies conducted raids against anti-state elements in Lahore, Rawalpindi and Dera Ghazi Khan and arrested 11 abettors of defunct organisations. A huge cache of weapons and explosives was recovered from the detainees who were shifted to an undisclosed location for further interrogation. Published in Daily Times, July 20th , 2017.
