ISLAMABAD: The International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI), is mulling to establish a centre of education for special persons and an advisory council for the students of the university to guide them about the future in various professions. This was said by IIUI President, Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al Draiweesh, while administering the oath to the newly elected executive body of the University Staff Welfare Association (USWA) on Thursday. The university is keen to disseminate Islam’s message of peace and moderation, said the IIUI President. He felicitated the newly elected members and hoped that they would prove that they were the right choice of a large number of varsity employees. “IUI is heading towards a destination of success and achievements of its lofty goals, it’s becoming possible with the united efforts by the administration academic staff and university employees” said Dr. Al Draiweesh. Speaking on the occasion, the Member Council of Islamic Ideology, Ali Muhammad Turab said that IIUI was a unique institution which was providing quality education to the students of Muslim countries. He also hailed the IIUI President for his efforts regarding the progress of the university. Sajjad Qamar, Coordinator to the Minister of Religious Affairs, said in his speech that IIUI was an exemplary institution which had been providing best education integrated with the teachings of Islam to the young minds of the Muslim world.
