ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court (SC) on Tuesday ordered re-election in Sindh Assembly’s constituency PS-22 Naushahro Feroz. A three-member bench headed by Justice Saqib Nisar conducted the hearing during which the court ordered re-polling in the constituency after mutual consent of both the parties. The court also directed to send this order to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP). During general elections of 2013, National Peoples Party’s Arif Mustafa Jatoi was declared winner in PS-22 but the candidate of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Abdul Sattar challenged the elections in Supreme Court. The petitioner pleaded to the tribunal to declare the election as void.
