ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) chairman has created a post of inspector for bazaars for special monitoring of weekly markets. The development worried the mafias because the inspector would review prices and quality of daily use items. It is vital to mention here that last year a post of inspector (bazaars, BPS-16) was also created. Inspector (Bazaars) Kamran Raza said that all legal and constitutional procedures were considered while creating this post. Sources in the authority said this was need of the hour because the CDA was receiving several complaints on a daily basis. The inspector would review over 7,500 stalls in H-9, G-10, I-9 and Bhara Kahu. The CDA chairman approved the summary for the post under the Financial Power Act 2007. According to sources, the chairman of the authority can create posts up to Grade 17 using his special powers.
