ISLAMABAD: An exhibition of handicrafts made by Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) beneficiaries is starting today at Lok Virsa. The exhibition is being held in collaboration with Lok Virsa -National Institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage and TCS. Minister of State Marvi Memon is going to inaugurate the exhibition.”E-Commerce is a unique initiative of BISP to bring entrepreneurial potential in its beneficiaries by marketing their products, so that they may graduate out of poverty. The products of beneficiaries, available online, provide international recognition to the traditional handicrafts,” a statement said. Summer camp: The Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) has organised a summer art camp for the children aged 5-16. A total of 70 students are a part of the camp, learning all kinds of art skills. During the past week, children were taught puppet making and a puppet show was organised for the children and their parents. Zulfiqar Ahmed was heading the puppet show.
