ISLAMABAD: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in its report revealed that without Capital Development Authority’s role, progress in illegal housing societies was not possible. The NAB submitted its report to Senate Committee on Law and Justice, which was chaired by Muhammad Javed Abbasi. The meeting of parliamentary body held on Monday. According to report, the officials of CDA were involved in corruption as no illegal housing society can be established without the support of civic agency. The NAB said that some cases of illegal cooperative housing societies are being probed by it and others by Federal Investigation Agency (FIA). On this, the chairman of the said committee asked the NAB to investigate all cases so that all culprits could be brought to justice.
