ISLAMABAD: A review petition filed by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidate Usman Dar against Supreme Court (SC) decision in election rigging case against Khawaja Muhammad Asif has been fixed for hearing on March 20. A three-member bench, headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar and consisting of Justice Ijazul Ahsan and Justice Sajjad Ali Shah, will take up the case for hearing on Monday. The SC has issued notices to PTI leader Usman Dar and his Counsel Babar Awan in connection with the preliminary hearing of the review petition. It is pertinent to mention here that the SC while disposing of the case of alleged rigging in NA-110 had rejected all the allegations of the petitioner, Usman Dar, and declared the success of Khawaja Asif correct. Dar, however, filed a review petition against the SC decision. The CJP fixed the review petition for hearing and constituted the bench.
