ISLAMABAD: The National Democratic Foundation (NDF) has elevated Sohail Kisat to the rank of the president “Kisat has been appointed NDF president considering his contributions to influential role of the NDF at the forefront of advocacy for democracy in Pakistan,” said NDF Chairman Kanwar Dilshad while addressing an in-house ceremony at the NDF Secretariat in Islamabad. Dilshad, former Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) secretary, officially presented the executive order to Sohail Kisat on Thursday. Member NDF Council of Advisers Kanwar Muhammad Javed Iqbal and other colleagues were also present on the occasion. He assured the NDF president of council of advisers and the programme management team’s support. Sohail Kisat said vowed to do his level best to promote the national mission for strengthening democracy in Pakistan by taking all stakeholders on board and introducing best team at national and provincial levels.
