ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Wednesday released two accused women on bail with surety bond of Rs 0.2 million each. The woman Shazia with the help of her sister Abida had allegedly murdered her husband Ali Amir Naqvi. A single bench comprised of Justice NoorUl Haq Qureshi took up the bail applications of two sisters, where they requested for interim relief. Advocate Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri, counsel for appellants, appeared before the bench and informed that the slain Naqvi was disabled and he had forcefully used his wife Shazia for prostitution time and again. He argued that brother of the arrested killed Naqvi on the name of honor while Shazia and her sister Abida had no connections with the murder. He further informed the court that Shazia had two children while Abida had one child aged 10 months living in prison with them. He pleaded before the bench to grant bail as so far no solid evidence and witness had been produced against them.
