ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court (SC) has adjourned hearing of a review petition filed by PML-N MNA Sumera Malik against her lifetime disqualification till the decision of a larger bench. A three-member SC bench headed by by Justice Gulzar Ahmad took up the case for hearing on Wednesday. Mubinud Din, counsel for Malik prayed the court to adjourn the hearing as several appeals are pending hearing against lifetime disqualification of his client in the fake degree case. The court after hearing the arguments of counsel adjourned the hearing till decision of a larger bench. Sumera Malik was elected as MNA from Khushab on the ticket of PML-N and her degree was challenged by the rival candidate. She was disqualified after her degree was proved bogus.
