ISLAMABAD: National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) has achieved another milestone by joining the league of world’s top 150 universities under the age of 50, as per the university rankings by Times Higher Education (THE), United Kingdom (UK). With this achievement, NUST has become the only educational institution of Pakistan, which has joined the fold of top young universities from around the globe, said a NUST press release issued on Wednesday. The Times Higher Education 150 under 50 rankings 2016 applies the same performance indicators as the world university rankings to provide the most comprehensive and balanced comparisons, which are trusted by students, academics, university leaders, industry and even governments. The performance indicators are grouped into five areas like teaching, research, citations, international outlook and industry outcome.
