ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan said on Saturday that people had rejected the 'victim card' played by Nawaz Sharif by not participating in the GT Road rally.
Addressing a meeting of the party's senior leadership, he condemned Nawaz Sharif's remarks against judiciary. "Nawaz Sharif has started a confrontation with judges over his disqualification in the Panama case," he said.
"PTI stands with the judiciary. People have rejected Nawaz Sharif's victim card. People have accepted the fact that the Sharif family is corrupt," he said. He added that the former prime minister was unable to produce any evidence before the top court and had failed to prove his innocence.
Imran Khan also praised the science camp held in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in which 2,000 government schools had participated.
