It seems that the 1990s are trending in the beauty world yet again. Bath & Body Works just released a few of our favourite ‘90s scents yet, and now MAC Cosmetics, is following suit with their latest nostalgic launch. The cult-favourite brand announced that, they’ll be releasing lip balms that change colours based on your skin’s chemistry. If this sounds familiar, it’s because you probably used to stock up on mood changing glosses and nail polishes as a kid and other brands have also picked up on the retro trend as of late. Lipstick Queen’s Frog Prince collection features a lipstick, lip gloss, and cream blush that all change based on the warmth of your lips and cheeks. NYX Cosmetics and Smashbox Cosmetics also have their own iterations of mood glosses available. On-trend as always, the beauty experts over at MAC Cosmetics have promised us the perfect personalized pout just in time for our seasonal makeup update. Tapping into our nostalgia, MAC’s new Tendertalk Lip Balm line purportedly transforms colour based on your skin’s chemistry while hydrating your smile. MAC’s Tendertalk Lip Balm will come in five different shades to choose from. The colours range from baby pink to bright purple and coral, and they do a lot more than just change colours. Tendertalk Lip Balm is made to condition and hydrate your lips, so your pout can feel amazing on top of changing colours. They’ll be available from June 16, and will sell for $20 a bullet.
