The revamped Nokia 3310 has finally touched down in Pakistan. The highly anticipated retro phone was launched at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 held in Barcelona earlier this year after a wait of 17 years. The phone is basically a reinvigorated version of the 2000’s version, with fancy new outfits, a coloured display and close to 22.1 hours of talk-time with reportedly a month of standby time. Additional features include internet usage and support for downloadable applications like facebook and twitter. It is comparatively slimmer when compared to its older version but is said to have the same build quality and sturdiness which its earlier version was known for. It is available in red, yellow, matte grey and dark blue colours another twist to its retro heritage. Similar to the phone itself, the trademark ‘snake’ game has also been reinvented according to the phone to fully utilise the colourful yet tiny screen of the phone. It even has a 2 megapixel camera which isn’t alot, but the older version of this phone wasn’t much about cameras was it? The memory this phone has is about 16 MB from which only a meagre 1.4 MB is accessible by the user, but there is no need to worry as the phone supports micro SD card’s of upto 32 GB. Before we forget to mention, the phone has a ‘headphone jack’, something the likes of Apple have abolished and it even supports USB charging. Nokia and HMB global have managed to successfully reinvent the legendary 3310, which reportedly sold 126 million units worldwide back in the day. The new Nokia 3310 is available for sale in Rs 6,489
