How cool does these retro-vintage glasses look? They are utterly chic with a plus of comfort and serenity. They are the latest fashion trend these days. But wait, they somehow take me back to time when my mother used to wear it. I even remember how I never used to like them, but to my surprise, I want to own so many of them now. It’s amazing what a few years can do to you. I am in love with these chokers; they put the whole look together by effortlessly providing you dapper feels. I remember owning a huge box of chokers in my childhood. I wish I had kept them so I didn’t have to buy them all over. In this modern era of ongoing fashion refashion trends and ever evolving technology, the funny thing is how we think about a new style and how chic that looks, but when we go back in history and trace its origins, we come to realise that it is nothing but a recycled trend which was widely followed back in times and the fashion giants have just brought them back. I have witnessed at least three decades of fashion and the evolution through time amazes me. What amazes me the most is the thought of every fashion trend being recycled. It gets on peak; everyone raves and goes gaga over it, followed by a phase when everyone is on a bandwagon following it. When they get a hand on this latest fashion trend, the popularity graph of it declines and gradually gets exchanged with something else continuing this cycle of recycling. Part of the reason for this ever-continuing recycling may be that many years have passed and it’s been a while since a particular type of fashion has been in the spotlight – but not so much time that the trends between generations growing up are so radically different that it would be instantly rejected by the public at large. A proper time span is considered in bringing back the fashion to ensure that when something is updated it’ll sell. The fashion designers seem largely influenced by fashion trends from the past, especially the young ones, it’s basically something as simple as what they were influenced by while they were growing up. Sometimes we see long shirts in trends and then suddenly short shirts catch the spotlight. Long bob is a widely followed fashion trend these days and roots of which goes back to the 80s and 90s. Hence from makeup to jewelry, clothes, shoes, prints, and textures and basically everything there ever is, is either getting or going to be recycled. And knowing this will ultimately help give you a sense of empowerment and entitles with regard to your very own fashion and look, and will allow you to adapt it to what you’re comfortable with. You are free to follow or even create any fashion statement because it is going to get recycled anyway. By doing so you get to be a fashion leader instead of a follower and fully control the impression you want to make.
