GHALLANAI: Tribal elders of Baizai and Khwezai tribes at a grand Jirga with representatives of the political administration vowed to strengthen the mutual coordination and work for the restoration of peace in the tribal region. The ceremony held at Ghallanai Jirga Hall was attendedby at least 50 tribal elders including Malik Nadir Manan, Malik Ziarat Gul, Malik Lal Habib, Malik Fazal Khaliq and Malik Abdullah Khan. Assistant Political Agent Baizai Sub-division, Pir Abdullah Shah, Tehsildar Gul Said Khan and Tehsildar Khwezai area, Shah Wazir Khan represented the political administration of Mohamand Agency at the jirga. The tribal elders pledged not to let anti-state elements enter and flourish in their respective areas. They announced to levy a fine of Rs 500,000 on those who were found involved in aiding and abetting the anti-state elements.
