QUETTA: At least 11 people were wounded on Wednesday in a hand grenade attack near a mini bus stand in Awaran town, police said. According to police, unidentified men riding a motorcycle hurled a hand grenade at locals standing near the mini bus stand in the town and fled from the scene. As a result, 11 people sustained injuries. The rescue teams rushed to the scene and shifted the injured to a hospital. According to doctors, condition of some injured was critical and were referred to Karachi after initial treatment. The blast shattered windowpanes of nearby building and created panic among people. The law enforcement agencies cordoned off the entire area and launched a search operation to trace the suspects involved in the subversive act.
